The Client Relationship: Cultivating Intuitive Presence, Boundaries, and Ethics

This two-and-a-half day module will focus on working one on one and/or in small groups with clients/students in a safe. respectful and clearly defined way. We will explore techniques to expand inner awareness of both our own, as well as our students, physical, mental and energetic bodies using asana, pranayama, and meditation.

Participants will discover how these patterns affect both themselves and their individual clients so that each session is grounded and centered.

Guidance will be given in:

  1. Accessing personal inner wisdom
  2. Cultivating objective listening techniques
  3. Using these tools to navigate the best path toward optimal well-being. Building trust in our skills and intuition will allow us to better discern and aid our students in finding and maintaining balance and overall wellness for themselves.

We will also look at some of the ethical issues facing Yoga Teacher who work one-on-one with clients and the importance of professional integrity and boundaries in this ever-evolving world.
