Post-Competition Update: Reflection

Wow…how time flies!

I am so proud that I won 2nd place in the IFPA Pro Bikini Open and Winner for Best Bikini Presentation. The competition was tough and the ladies were beautiful!

I would like to first mention, I could not of done it without my mentor and loving husband, Ron. He saw the passion in me when I couldn’t see it myself. He saw my talent and honed it to a point where I am now sharing my story with you. Everyone needs such an inspirational mentor, and I am lucky to have found mine who happens to be the love of my life :-).

It has been an amazing and challenging fitness journey these past 15-weeks towards my pro bikini debut. The IFPA Pro Bowl was a day to celebrate and appreciate our accomplishments as athletes. Every single competitor was a winner that day!

I believe every one of us is a winner because it is about appreciating the journey and not just the destination. Trophies or titles do not determine a person’s worth or level of success. It’s the person within that must appreciate the perseverance and commitment to achieve a goal and realize the entire journey is what makes a person a success. To reflect and to embrace every moment of the journey, even the challenges, is what makes the destination truly rewarding!

I have faced several challenges on my way here, but each has only strengthened me to make me the person I am today. I use the same determination and focus from training towards everything I do…towards every goal I want to attain.

There is always a lesson learned for every competition I do and that is to be simply….thankful.

I live and love life to the fullest!

Overall, I am honored that I am able to inspire family, friends, and even people I have not personally met. Thank you.
